Spatial Pattern Analysis of Tuberculosis cases in Chakan.

Introduction
The Health & Science Department of the University of Pune engaged us to map and analyze the pattern of tuberculosis cases in Chakan, a suburb of Pune. We conducted a hotspot survey to identify incidence of tuberculosis based on spatial and temporal aspects.
Mapping was done on the basis of overall cases as well as the specific strains of bacteria causing the infection. The exercise was done using GIS software and helped identify the number and locations of clusters as well as the variance to mean ratio of clustering.
